Planck v.0, the game prototype that a group of talented people and I have been working on over the past several months, has just been submitted to the 2010 Independent Games Festival. A slightly higher (but not high enough) resolution video is available directly on Vimeo.

@Player1: Those games, plus a few others, were a great inspiration to us. I do think we have been able to go a bit farther in terms of the sound's dynamic qualities; over the next few weeks I'll be writing up some detailed explanations of how Planck v.0 does that on the Shadegrown site.

Work on shovel-ware and clones of 2D platformers for the iPhone and Scrabble clones for Facebook.
Step 3:
Bemoan shovel-ware produced by huge game company.
Step 4:
Start own game company to produce non-shovelware games.

Produce shovelware.
