Penultimate Means Next to Last, pt. II

“While never quite proving itself as the penultimate virtual rock experience, Guitar Hero: World Tour is a blast in its own right...”

Max:

Well, grammar aside, this may be a snide comment regarding Guitar Hero's place behind Rock Band in the pantheon of plastic instrument music games.

I guess that means GH:WT comes behind Rock band 2 and Wii Music this year.

While I normally enjoy this blog, I have to say I'm disappointed by your lack of grammatical knowledge. Adding "pen" at the beginning of "ultimate" is how writers show that they know more English than you. I bet you're the sort of person whom might correct me for using well grammar. I know better than to believe you though. That's the difference between you and I.

I recently learned this, as well. It's as though I've been living a lie for years. Luckily, my editor caught it. I've been screwing it up forever, though.

Demaar:

That's the first thing that popped into my mind as well Max. I guess they're saying that Rock Band 2 is #1, followed by Rock Revolution, then GHWT?

I can feel the burn from here.
