Bad Writing About Games, pt. VI

“Free Radical are known for producing top-notch first-person shooters (see Timesplitters and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter), so it should come as no surprise their latest endeavor is in the same genre.”

Gamer’s Hell.

Update: Since corrected on the site. You’ll have to take my word for it.

The best is when you ask someone what their favorite FPS is and they tell you "Gears of War."

CZ:

The correction is slightly less egregious, but it is not as if the rest of the piece isn't a similarly cringeworthy textual experience.

"Like the publisher’s Vegas titles, missions are handled in a streamlined manner, with flights in helicopters or rides trucks between missions."

"Along with online co-op play, Haze offers adversary gameplay over the internet as well. You have your choice to play with up to 15 other players in six different maps, with your standard game types: Death Match, Team Death Match and Team Assault, an objective-based game."

Lastly, if I were Chris Matel, I would have made a joke about Mantel being like my last name.

Anonymous:

How did they confuse Free Radical with Ubisoft?

brb gonna read a couple of Sherlock Holmes books by H.G. Wells.
